When Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson met at their church in Hamburg they realized that there was no turning back. Ashley Hudson was only 17 years old and hadn't been with a woman prior to that, so they decided to take their time. The couple were instantly in love. Andrew asked on New Year's Eve right prior to the start of the year in 2016, to God would grant him one last blessing in the year. That Ashley would get married to him. Ashley wanted to have an authentic folk-style wedding to represent her and Andrew. Andrew and Ashley incorporated their most loved things to create the perfect wedding. Ashley was raised in a 40-acre farm. They walked from the path across the fields they said "I do" in. Ashley had explored and played around on it. Andrew and Ashley have also visited the location many times before they got married. As most of the decorations were made by the groom and bride, it was essential to personalize the wedding. Andrew and Ashley's Dad made the seating area and the arch used for the wedding ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decors. Ashley declares, "Our wedding would not have been the dreamy experience I had always envisioned if Anna's beautiful flowers hadn't been done." The work is simply stunning.
